For the Love of Flowers Exhibition
Thursday 2nd ‘til Tuesday 7th May
A multi medium celebration of All Things Flowers is coming to a brand new Art Gallery on Askew Road, and Philippa, owner & floral designer of Francis Smith Flowers is responsible for creating a floral-wonderland within which, her fellow flower-fan artists Isabel Dodd and Kate Fishenden will feature their works of art.
We have multiple workshops happening throughout the week of this exhibition at the Askew Gallery.
Flower Crown Workshop
Friday 3rd May, from 6pm - 8pm
Upcycling Flower Embroidery Workshop
Saturday 4th May, from 2pm - 4pm
Guided Trip to Chiswick Flower Market & Bouquet Workshop
Sunday 5th May, from 9am - 12pm
Pop-In Kid Friendly Flower Workshop - Make your own Jam Jar posy
Bank Holiday Monday, from 12pm-3pm
On Bank holiday Monday, Philippa will be running a pop-in workshop for everyone, but especially as a kid-friendly experience so parents can bring their children, create their own Jam Jar posy together and then take home and enjoy.
It's all about coming along, joining in and have fun playing with the flowers.
Jam Jar Posies will be £15 each, make as many as you would like. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes per Jam Jar.
We will have plenty of recycled jam jars & flowers for many happy customers however if you have a spare jar at home, feel free to bring it with you. Please note, we have a workshop space for approximately 10 people to sit at, so if it is busy at a certain time we may ask you to wait, and enjoy the other art in the gallery until a place comes free.
There are NO TICKETS for this event, just turn up whenever works for you between 12pm-3pm.
